Q: Where does the money collected from movie rentals go?

A: Directly to Inequality Media Civic Action.

Q: What if I can’t afford to rent the film?

A: Please email us here. We don’t want price to be a barrier for anyone who would like to see the film.

Q: Are subtitles available? Which languages? 

A: Spanish, French, and English subtitles are available.

Q: I’m outside of the United States. Can I still watch it? 

A: Yes! Once you pay for it, you can watch this film anywhere in the world.

Q: Can I watch it with other people?

A: Yes! In fact, we’d encourage it. We want as many people as possible to watch this film. If you do decide to host a “watch party” with your community, feel free to send us a picture at thelastclassfilm@imcivicaction.org!

Q: Can I take/watch the whole “Wealth & Poverty” course?

A: Yes! All 14 classes are available for free HERE.

A: How long is the film?

Q: What if I want to do a screening for a group?

A: Wonderful! Please do! Go HERE.

Q: I'm renting it on my computer or phone, but I want to watch it on my TV. Is that possible? 

A: Yes, if your TV has “casting” capabilities, you can watch The Last Class on your TV. You will complete your rental via our website on your phone, computer, or tablet, and once your payment is complete, ensure that your TV is connected to the same WiFi network as your other device. 

On iPhone or iPad (AirPlay):

  1. Open the film in your browser.

  2. Tap the AirPlay icon (a rectangle with a triangle at the bottom) in the video player.

  3. Select your TV or Apple TV from the list.

  4. The film will appear on your TV automatically.

On Android (Google Cast):

  1. Open the film in your browser.

  2. Tap the Cast icon (a rectangle with a WiFi symbol in the corner) in the video player.

  3. Select your TV or Chromecast device from the list.

  4. The film will appear on your TV automatically.

On a laptop or desktop (Chrome browser):

  1. Open the film in Google Chrome.

  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the browser.

  3. Select "Cast, save, and share," then "Cast."

  4. Choose your TV or Chromecast from the list.

  5. The film will begin playing on your TV.
